This project is one of a forthcoming series of posters protesting my school district’s gendered dress code policy. Each poster includes a different prominent piece of art that is “explicit” in some way, with the intention of challenging the handbook’s definition of what is sexually provocative. The art is styled in collage and digitally overlaid with graffiti as a nod to riot grrrl zines of the 90s that fought the rape culture dress codes promote.
